Abstract:
A rivet attachment device for setting blind rivets, with at least one connection unit (28a) for fastening non-rotatably to a machine tool (12a), with a fixing unit (20a; 20b; 20c; 20d; 20e) for receiving a rivet mandrel (26a; 26b; 26c; 26d; 26e) during a riveting operation, and with at least one removal unit (16a; 16b; 16c; 16d; 16e) for removing the rivet mandrel (26a; 26b; 26c; 26d; 26e) in a removing direction (30a; 30b; 30c; 30d; 30e) is proposed, the removal unit (16a; 16b; 16c; 16d; 16e) being provided in order, after the rivet mandrel (26a; 26b; 26c; 26d; 26e) has been removed in the removal direction (30a; 30b; 30c; 30d; 30e), to draw the rivet mandrel (26a; 26b; 26c; 26d; 26e) all the way through the fixing unit (20a; 20b; 20c; 20d; 20e).
