Abstract:
Provided is a rivet setter which enables rivet setting work to be carried out satisfactorily and smoothly, and which enables takt time to be reduced when doing setting work. The rivet setter for setting rivets (R) that have been fed sequentially from a rivet supply means by passing the rivets (R) through holes formed at predetermined locations on a workpiece is provided with: delivery paths (1a, 2a) through which rivets (R) can be delivered by being forced to slide down to a position (A) at which the rivets can be set; and a suspension support section (2b) formed at the position (A) at which the rivets can be set, located at the tip of the delivery path, whereby a rivet (R) can be placed in a suspended state in which the shank is forced to drop downward while the head of the rivet is supported to the position (A) at which rivets can be set. By passing rivets (R), which have been placed in a suspended state by the suspension support section (2b), through workpiece holes while the suspension support section (2b) is moved in a substantially horizontal direction, the rivets (R) can be set in the workpiece holes.
