Abstract:
A rivet which comprises an approximately cylindrical grommet which comprises a buckling target portion disposed at a flange around an upper side and between upper and lower ends, and a resin pin which is arranged through a cylinder of the grommet, whereof a lower end side is engaged with the lower end of the grommet in such a way that pulling is not possible and an upper end side extends beyond the flange, the grommet is penetrated by mounting holes for a plurality of plate portions up to the point where the grommet is restricted by the flange, and the rivet is expanded via the buckling target portion with a relative movement by a stress of the pin in a pull-out direction, and may be fastened across each of the plate portions between the expanded portion and the flange, wherein the grommet is formed of a metal, being insert-molded during injection molding of the pin, fixed to the peripheral portion of the resin-formed pin, and expanded by being buckled by the stress of the pin in the pull-out direction.
