Abstract:
A road ahead traffic condition early warning method and an early warning system. The method comprises: recording a number of early warning kilometres (S100); when a user is driving a vehicle, detecting road traffic conditions within the number of early warning kilometres in the direction of travel of the vehicle (S101); when the road traffic conditions within the number of early warning kilometres in the direction of travel of the vehicle are congested, prompting the user (S102). The method and early warning system record the number of early warning kilometres, and provide an early warning to the user when the user is driving the vehicle and congestion is present within the preset road kilometres, so that the user can know the road conditions in advance, and take effective action in advance.
