Abstract:
Provided is a road information receiving system, comprising a road traffic light, and an instruction transmission unit that controls the road traffic light to change, characterized in comprising a road information transmission unit and a vehicle on-board unit, the vehicle on-board unit comprising an information receiving device, a processor, a vehicle direction positioning device, and an output device. The processor selects the status of the traffic light of the matching direction from a traffic light status signal according to direction data, and transmits by means of the output device the status to a driver as reference regarding the intersection. When a large vehicle in front blocks the view of the traffic light, or when a driver has color blindness or color deficiency, the driver can accurately receive image and/or voice alerts via the output device, so that the driver can safely and rapidly drive the vehicle through the intersection or stop in time according to the traffic light status.
