Abstract:
The present invention provides a road sign device (10) which cannot be easily damaged when the impact load of a moving vehicle is applied because the force of impact is gradually absorbed, and which can be easily replaced and repaired when damaged or malfunctioning, by connecting it electrically in series to a neighboring road sign device thereby minimizing the number of electric cables for electric power supply. Accordingly, the road guide sign apparatus (10) of the present invention comprises an outer case (12) of a predetermined dimension and shape, which is made of a material that absorbs externally applied impact loads. The upper part of the inner side of the case (12) forms a receiving groove (14) of a predetermined depth, and the lower part forms connection holes (16) facing each other. The inner surface of the receiving groove (14) in the upper inner side of the case (12) forms an internal screw thread (18), and a pair of through-holes oriented downwards (20) are formed on both sides of the bottom surface of the receiving groove (14) linked to said connection holes (16) within the case (12).
