Abstract:
A road surface condition prediction system (1) is provided with: a collection unit (210) that collects, from each of multiple moving bodies (1A, 1B), moisture information about road surface moisture acquired by detecting moisture on the road surface of a road (3) on which each of the multiple moving bodies (1A, 1B) is traveling and position information indicating the position of the road surface on which the moisture has been detected; and a prediction unit (220) that predicts, on the basis of moisture information acquired by detecting the moisture on the target road surface which is a road surface at a position indicated by at least one of multiple sets of position information collected by the collection unit (210) among multiple sets of moisture information collected by the collection unit (210), the moisture condition on the target road surface at a time following the time when the moisture on the target road surface has been detected.
