Abstract:
According to the present invention, tire-side devices (1) that have favorable radio wave environments transmit to a vehicle-body-side system (2), the transmissions including road surface data from tire-side devices (1) that have less favorable radio wave environments. Thus, reliable transmission to the vehicle-body-side system (2) is possible even in situations in which road surface data might be sent from the other tire-side devices (1) but not arrive at the vehicle-body-side system (2). The present invention thereby achieves a road surface conditions determination device that makes it possible for data to be reliably transmitted to a vehicle-body-side system (2) from tire-side devices (1) that are provided to respective tires (3).
