Abstract:
A road surface image rendering device (50F) is mountable in a car (1), and comprises: an image rendering lens (52) having an entry surface (54), from which light enters, and an emitting surface (55), from which the light that has entered from the entry surface (54) is emitted, the image rendering lens including a rendering contribution region on the entry surface (54) and/or the emitting surface (55), the rendering contribution region being configured to deflect light emitted onto the entry surface (54) such that a unit rendering image indicating a prescribed character is projected onto a road surface by the light emitted from the emitting surface (55); and a plurality of light sources (111a, 111b, 111c) that are disposed at mutually different positions and that emit light onto the entry surface (54). Using the light from the respective light sources (111a, 111b, 111c), the image rendering lens (52) projects unit rendering images that correspond to the respective light sources (111a, 111b, 111c) onto the road surface.
