Abstract:
This road surface lighting device (10) includes: an information acquisition unit (12) which acquires surrounding information that indicates a surrounding condition of a vehicle (20) provided with the road surface lighting device (10) and acquires, from an in-vehicle apparatus of the vehicle (20), vehicle information related to traveling of the vehicle (20); and a control unit (15) which controls the entirety of the device. The control unit (15) specifies, on the basis of the surrounding information, surrounding objects (31, 32, 33) present in the surroundings of the vehicle (20), determines, on the basis of the surrounding information and the vehicle information, an irradiation pattern and an irradiation position of irradiation light (L), which show recommended areas (51, 52, 53) on the road surface in which it is recommended that the surrounding objects are to be present, and a figure that guides the surrounding objects to the recommended areas, and controls a light irradiation unit (11) provided in the vehicle (20) such that the irradiation light (L) of the determined irradiation pattern is irradiated onto the determined irradiation position.
