Abstract:
The present invention suppresses damage due to an out-of-control vehicle. This roadside device, which is set to be installed at an intersection where traffic lights are installed, comprises: an imaging unit that images a vehicle entering the intersection; an input unit which is set so that traffic light status is input; and a wireless communication unit. If the traffic light is showing as red to the vehicle, or is scheduled to change to red within a prescribed amount of time, and if the speed of the vehicle is at least a prescribed threshold value, or the speed of the vehicle is increasing, the wireless communication unit transmits a notification indicating that an out-of-control vehicle is entering the intersection.
