Abstract:
The invention relates to a roadside parking place fee paying method and system. The fee paying method comprises steps of: stopping a timing when detecting that a target vehicle leaves a ground target area so as to obtain the parking duration of the target vehicle in the ground target area (120); sending to a server license plate information and the parking duration (130); the server calculating the fee required to be paid by the vehicle owner of the target vehicle according to the parking duration (140); determining whether the target vehicle has non-payment information according to the license plate information (150); and if there is no non-payment information, transmitting payment prompting information corresponding to the fee to the terminal of the vehicle owner so as to prompt the vehicle owner to complete payment operation within a first preset period of time (160). Fee payment of the ground and roadside parking places can be realized without manual inspection, and the ground and roadside parking places can be monitored in real time so that the traffic problem caused by disordered parking of the vehicles can be alleviated while reducing the cost.
