Abstract:
The present application provides a roaming method and a host. In the present application, a TCP/IP connection established between a host and an opposite end is modified from being bound to a current first IP address of the host in a first network, the address to which the TCP/IP connection originally should have been bound, to being bound to a host address in the first IP address that stays unchanged while the host is roaming, such that all the parameters associated with the TCP/IP connection established between the host and the opposite end will not be changed due to the roaming of the host from the first network to a second network. Accordingly, even if the host has roamed from the first network to the second network, the TCP/IP connection established between the host and the opposite end can still be maintained.
