Abstract:
The present invention relates to a robot cleaner having a floor-sterilizing function, comprising: a robot body which is to travel along the floor of a building; a collection unit arranged at the bottom surface of the robot body so as suction the dust or foreign substances from the floor of the building and collect the dust or foreign substances in the robot body; and a sterilization unit arranged in the robot body so as to spray a sterilizing agent on the floor from which the dust or foreign substances have been removed by the collection unit. The robot cleaner having a floor-sterilizing function according to the present invention is configured such that the robot body actively travels along the floor in order to remove dust or foreign substances by the collection unit and simultaneously spray a sterilizing agent by the sterilization unit, thus enabling continuous sterilization and cleaning to be performed in an indoor area of a hospital without moving a bed or the like disposed on the floor of the hospital.
