Abstract:
This invention provides a robot control apparatus having an operating unit of excellent portability and operability and furnished with excellent displaying functions. Operation panels (6, 7) for use in carrying out a robot control operation concerning the teaching of the position of a working point and operations other than this operation are connected to a robot control apparatus body (3) via communication cables (10, 9) so that the operation panels can be moved with respect to the robot control apparatus body. The teaching of a robot by an operator is done through the two operation panels brought close to a robot body. Moreover, the greater part of a robot control operation is carried out through the light miniaturized teaching operation panel (6). Accordingly, the operator's burden is lightened. In addition, the editing of a program and the inputting of the conditions for various actions of a robot are done as necessary through the operation panel (7) which is provided with a large-sized display (1) and a plurality of operating buttons (2). This enables the teaching of a high-function robot to be done accurately and speedily.
