Abstract:
When an abnormality is detected in a social robot, the present invention makes it possible to execute an appropriate alternative operation. This robot with multiple functional units is characterized in having: a monitoring unit for monitoring operating conditions when providing services by operating the multiple functional units; and a control unit that, when it is determined that an operating condition is abnormal, refers to definition information in which alternative operations associated with each service have been defined beforehand and performs control so as to execute the alternative operation associated with the service that is being provided.
