Abstract:
This robot diagnosis method is for detecting the amount of offset caused by lost motion. This robot diagnosis method is characterized by the inclusion of: a first step of preparing a robot comprising a robot arm having one or a plurality of joint parts including a first joint part, and a line sensor containing a detection unit that detects the position of a part for detection inserted between a light projector and the light receiver on the basis of the light reception state at a light receiver; and a sixth step of detecting the amount of offset caused by lost motion in the first joint part on the basis of the position of the part for detection detected in a third step, the position of the part for detection resulting from command values from a robot control unit in a fourth step, and the position of the part for detection detected in a fifth step.
