Abstract:
A robot, wherein control over a lock mode having a high level of secrecy is executed without limiting the applicability of the robot. This robot (1) is provided with: one or more password verification units (105) for determining whether a manual operation, performed on a movable unit by a user, matches a motion password; and a mode alteration unit (101) for cancelling or initiating a lock mode when the manual operation is determined to match the motion password.
