Abstract:
Embodiments herein disclosea method for providing a personalized content to a user. The method includes flipping, by a mechanical flipping arrangement (180), at least one page of a physical document including newspaper, scanning, by a scanning unit (160), the page of the physical document and converting the at least one scanned physical document into a readable format. Further, the method includes analyzing, by a data item determination unit (150a), the at least one converted physical document and determining at least one data item in at least one physical document. Further, the method includes classifying, by a content classification unit (150b), at least one content in the at least one determined data item. Further, the method includes prioritizing, by a content prioritizing unit (150c), the at least one classified content. Further, the method includes providing, by an output unit (140), at least one classified content to the user.

Claims:
I claim:

1. A robot (100) for providing a personalized content to a user, comprising: a processor (110); a mechanical flipping arrangement (180) configured to grip at least one physical document and to flip at least one page of the at least one physical document; a scanning unit (160) configured to simultaneously scan at least one page of the at least one physical document and convert the at least one scanned physical document into a readable format; a physical document analyzer unit (150) coupled with the scanning unit (160), wherein the physical document analyzer unit (150) comprises: a data item determination unit (150a) configured to analyze the at least one scanned physical document received from the scanning unit (160) and determine the at least one data item in the at least one scanned physical document, a content classification unit (150b) configured to classify at least one content in the at least one determined data item, and a content prioritizing unit (150c) configured to prioritize the at least one classified content by learning a preference of the user and an interest of the user over a period of time; and a memory (130) coupled with the physical document analyzer unit (150), wherein the memory (130) is configured to store the at least one classified content received from the physical document analyzer unit (150); a highlighting tool (190), coupled with the mechanical flipping arrangement (180), configured to highlight the at least one prioritized content in the at least one physical document; and an output unit (140) configured to provide at least one classified content to the user in real time or in near real time, whereby the robot (100) is configured to identify a type of the at least one physical document, wherein the data item determination unit (150a) is configured to determine the at least one data item in the at least one scanned physical document by parsing each portion of the at least one physical document, extracting each parsed portion of the at least one physical document, and mapping the extracted portion of the physical document with a predetermined information, wherein the output unit (140) is configured to provide at least one classified content to the user by at least: transmitting the at least one classified content to an electronic device (400); selecting a portion of the classified content on the electronic device (400) by the user; determining, by the robot (100), the content that is being highlighted on the on the electronic device (400); triggering the highlighting tool (190) to highlight the same contentof the at least one physical document stored thereon, or transmitting the at least one classified content to the electronic device (400); receiving a user input to highlight a portion of the classified content, recognizing the user input, triggering the highlighting tool (190) to highlight the corresponding portions in the at least one physical document, wherein the user input comprises at least one of a text input, voice input, a gaze input, and a gesture input.

2. The robot (100) of claim 1 , wherein the output unit (140) is configured to provide at least one classified content to the user by:

Connecting with the electronic device (400) using a communicator

( 120) ; transmitting the at least one classified content to the electronic device (400) ; and displaying at least one classified content on the electronic device

(400).

3. The robot (100) of claim 1 receives the user input directly when the user is in proximity of the robot (100) or via the electronic device (400), wherein the output unit (140) is configured to provide at least one classified content to the user based on the user input.

The robot (100) of claim 1 receives the user input, wherein the output unit (140) is configured to provide at least one classified content to the user by determining a priority information based on the user input; wherein the at least one classified content is provided to the user using the highlighting tool (190)coupled with the mechanical flipping device (180).

The robot (100) of claim 4 is configured to determine the priority information based on at least one of a user emotional profile, an aesthetic parameter, a social networking activity, a social networking profile, a behaviour trait, a priority of the user, a user preference, and user profiled information.

The robot (100) of claim 1 receives a language preference from the user and translates the at least one classified content based on the language preference, wherein the output unit (140) is configured to provide the at least one translated classified content to the user based on the language preference.

7. The robot (100) of claim Idetermines a presence of a child using a sensor (220) and determines at least one inappropriate content present in the at least one classified content, wherein the output unit (140) is configured to providethe at least one inappropriate content in a silent mode.

8. The robot (100) of claim 1 determines at least one of a location of the user and a user profile from a set of user profiles, wherein the output unit (140) is configured to provide at least one classified content to the user based on the determined location and the determined user profile.

The robot of claim 1 , wherein the physical document analyzer unit (150) is configured to create a story including information about a plurality of activity related to the at least one classified content in the at least one data item, wherein the plurality of activity corresponds to a scene or an event available in the physical document.

A method for providing a personalized content to a user by a robot (100), comprising: flipping, by a mechanical flipping arrangement (180), at least one page of the at least one physical document, wherein the mechanical flipping arrangement (180) is configured to grip the at least one physical document; scanning, by a scanning unit ( 160) ,sim ultaneously at least one page of the at least one physical documentand converting the at least one scanned physical document into a readable format; analyzing, by a data item determination unit (150a), the at least one converted physical document and determining at least one data item in at least one physical document; classifying, by a content classification unit (150b), at least one content in the at least one determined data item ; prioritizing, by a content prioritizing unit (150c), the at least one classified content by learning a preference of the user and an interest of the user over a period of time; storing, by a memory (130), the at least one classified content received from the physical document analyzer unit (150); highlighting, by a highlighting tool (190), the at least one prioritized content, wherein the highlighting tool is coupledwith the mechanical flipping arrangement (180); and providing, by an output unit (140), at least one classified content to the user in real time or in near real time; whereby identifying, by the robot (100), a type of the at least one physical document. wherein the data item determination unit (150a) is configured to determine the at least one data item in the at least one scanned physical document by parsing each portion of the at least one physical document, extracting each parsed portion of the at least one physical document, and mapping the extracted portion of the physical document with a predetermined information, and wherein the output unit (140) is configured to provide at least one classified content to the user by at least: transmitting the at least one classified content to an electronic device (400); selecting a portion of the classified content on an electronic device (400), determining that content is being highlighted on the on an electronic device (400), triggering the highlighting tool (190) to highlight the same portions in the at least one physical document, transmitting the at least one classified content to the electronic device (400);receiving a user input, recognizing the user input, triggering the highlighting tool (190) to highlight the corresponding portions in the at least one physical document, wherein the user input comprises at least one of a text input, voice input, a gaze input, and gesture input, wherein the user input is provided directly to the robot (100) when the user is in proximity of the robot (100) or via the electronic device (400) independent of location of the robot (100).

Description:
Robot and method for providing content in a newspaper and other physical documents

FI ELD OF INVENTION

The present disclosure relates to a physical document content processing system, and more specifically related to a method and robot 5 for providing a personalized content to a user by reading physical readable document including newspaper and recite the content thereof.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

In general, with an availability of diverse content, a user is facing a 10 difficulty in finding an interested content from a plurality of contents. In order to view the interested content, the user needs to find/search the content manually. Further, the user needs to search for a time at which the interested content is available for reading/viewing. Flowever, the user may have trouble in manually finding/searching the content which 15 provides the interested content.

For example, if the user may be interested to see golf match information then, the user needs to manually check all the pages of a newspaper to find the golf match related information. This results in reading the user experience.

20 Also, there are times when the user wishes to read the newspaper and other relevant documents, however, due to a shortage of time, the user is not able to read.

Thus, it is desired to address the above mentioned disadvantages or other shortcomings or at least provide a useful alternative. There is a 25 need to develop a robot that can recite the content in a newspaper and other readable physical documents OBJECT OF INVENTION

The principal object of the embodiments herein is to provide a method and robot for providing a personalized content to a user.

30 Another object of the embodiment herein is to determine at least one data item in at least one physical document. Another object of the embodiment herein is to classify at least one content in the at least one determined data item.

Another object of the embodiment herein is to provide at least one classified content to the user.

5 Another object of the embodiment herein is to prioritize the at least one classified content.

Another object of the embodiment herein is to highlight the at least one prioritized content.

SUMMARY

10 Accordingly, herein disclosea method for providing a personalized content to a user. The method includes determining, by a robot, at least one data item in at least one physical document. Further, the method includes classifying, by the robot, at least one content in the at least one determined data item. Further, the method includes providing, by the 15 robot, at least one classified content to the user.

Accordingly, embodiments herein disclose a robot for providing a personalized content to a user. The robot includes a physical documentanalyzer unit coupled with a processor and a memory. The physical documentanalyzer unit is configured to determine at least one 20 data item in at least one physical document and classify at least one content in the at least one determined data item. Further, the physical documentanalyzer unit is configured to provide at least one classified content to the user.

These and other aspects of the embodiments herein will be better 25 appreciated and understood when considered in conjunction with the following description and the accompanying drawings. It should be understood, however, that the following descriptions, while indicating preferred embodiments and numerous specific details thereof, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation. Many changes and

30 modifications may be made within the scope of the embodiments herein without departing from the spirit thereof, and the embodiments herein include all such modifications. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF FIGURES

FIG. 4 is a flow diagram illustrating a method for providing the personalized content to the user, according to an embodiment as 15 disclosed herein.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION

The embodiments herein and the various features and advantageous details thereof are explained more fully with reference to the non-limiting embodiments that are illustrated in the accompanying 20 drawings and detailed in the following description. Descriptions of well- known components and processing techniques are omitted so as to not unnecessarily obscure the embodiments herein. Also, the various embodiments described herein are not necessarily mutually exclusive, as some embodiments can be combined with one or more other 25 embodiments to form new embodiments. The term “or” as used herein, refers to a non-exclusive or, unless otherwise indicated. The examples used herein are intended merely to facilitate an understanding of ways in which the embodiments herein can be practiced and to further enable those skilled in the art to practice the embodiments herein. Accordingly, 30 the examples should not be construed as limiting the scope of the embodiments herein. As is traditional in the field, embodiments may be described and illustrated in terms of blocks which carry out a described function or functions. These blocks, which may be referred to herein as units or modules or the like, are physically implemented by analog or digital circuits such as logic gates, integrated circuits, microprocessors, microcontrollers, memory circuits, passive electronic components, active electronic components, optical components, hardwired circuits, or the like, and may optionally be driven by firmware and software. Accordingly, embodiments herein achieve a method for providing a personalized content to a user. The method includes determining, by a robot, at least one data item in at least one physical document. Further, the method includes classifying, by the robot, at least one content in the at least one determined data item. Further, the method includes providing, by the robot, at least one classified content to the user.

In an embodiment, further, the method includes prioritizing, by the robot, the at least one classified content.

In an embodiment, the at least one classified content is prioritized by learning a preference of the user and an interest of the user over a period of time, and prioritizing the at least one classified content based on at least one of the preferences of the user and the interest of the user.

In an embodiment, the method includes reading, by the robot, at least one classified content to the user.

In an embodiment, the method includes displaying, by the robot, at least one classified content to the user.

In an embodiment, displaying, by the robot, at least one classified content to the user includes connecting, by the robot, with an electronic device, transmitting, by the robot, the at least one classified content to the electronic device, and displaying, by the robot, at least one classified content on the electronic device.

In an embodiment, providing, by the robot device, at least one classified content to the user includes receiving an input from the user, and providing the at least one classified content to the user based on the user input.

In an embodiment, providing, by the robot, the at least one classified content to the user includes receiving the input from the user, determining a priority information based on the input, and providing the at least one classified content to the user based on the priority information.

In an embodiment, the priority information is determined based on at least one of a user emotional profile, an aesthetic parameter, a social networking activity, a social networking profile, a behavior trait, a priority of the user, a user preference, and user profiled information. I n an em bodim ent, determ ining the priority information based on the inputincludes analyzing the inputto determ ine a user intent, preprocessing the user intent using a machine learning model, and determ ining the priority information for the input based on the user intent.

I n an em bodim ent, providing, by the robot device, at least one classified content to the user includes receiving a language preference from the user, translating the at least one classified content based on the language preference, and providing the at least one translated classified content to the user based on the language preference.

I n an em bodim ent, providing, by the robot, at least one classified content to the user includes determ ining a presence of the child, determ ining that at least one inappropriate content is present in the at least one classified content, and providing the at least one inappropriate content in a silent m ode.

I n an em bodiment, determ ining, by the robot, at least one data item in at least one physical documentincludes scanning at least one page of the at least one physical document using a m echanical flipping arrangem ent, converting the at least one scanned physical document into a readable form at, analyzing the at least one converted physical document, and determ ining at least one data item in at least one physical document

Unlike conventional m ethods and system , the proposed method can be used to provide the personalized content based on the user interest, which results in providing a personalized experience to the user as the m ethod can be used to completely elim inate the need for searching the interested content in the physical document (e.g., newspaper, book, article, m agazine, journal, instruction manual, directories, formsor the like) .

Referring now to the drawings, and more particularly to FI GS. 1 through 4, there are shown preferred embodim ents. FIG. 1 shows various hardware components of a robot (100), according to an embodiment as disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the robot (100) includes a processor (110), acorn m unicat or (120), a memory (130), an output unit (140), aphysical documentanalyzer unit (150), ascanning unit (160), an inbuilt printer (170), a mechanical flipping arrangement (180), a highlighting tool (190), a voice assisting tool (200), a laser light (210) and a sensor (220). The processor (110) is provided with the communicator (120), the memory (130), the output unit (140), the physical documentanalyzer unit (150), the scanning unit( 160) , the inbuilt printer (170), the mechanical flipping arrangement (180), the highlighting tool (190), the voice assisting tool (200), the laser light (210) and the sensor (220).

In general, the robot (100) is having a set of hand/arm and a base. The expression ‘mechanical flipping arrangement’ or ‘set of robot arm’ or ‘robot hand’ may be interchangeably used without departing from the meaning and scope of the present invention. The set of robot arm or the mechanical flipping arrangement is provided with a plurality of axes, a plurality of levers and a flange for carrying/holding physical documents. The operations and functions of the set of robot arm, the plurality of axes, the plurality of levers and the flange are familiar in principle to a person skilled in the art, for which operations and functions of the set of robot arm, the plurality of axes, the plurality of levers and the flange are not depicted in greater detail and their functionality is not explained in further detail.

In an embodiment, the robot (100) may include wheels or other suitable structures and thus may be movable.

In another embodiment, the robot (100) may be stationary.

The processor (110) is configured to execute instructions stored in the memory (130) and to perform various processes. The communicator^ 20) is configured for communicating internally between internal hardware components and with external devices via one or more networks (e.g., Bluetooth or Wi-Fi module or via wired module or via any suitable means). Also, the communicator (120) may transmit the reading out onto the electronic device, when a loudspeaker mode of the robot (100) is not needed or the user is not in proximity with the robot (100).

The memory (130) also stores instructions to be executed by the processor (110). The memory (130) may include non-volatile storage elements. Examples of such non-volatile storage elements may include magnetic hard discs, optical discs, floppy discs, flash memories, or forms of electrically programmable memories (EPROM) or electrically erasable and programmable (EEPROM) memories. In addition, the memory (130) may, in some examples, be considered a non-transitory storage medium. The term “non-transitory” may indicate that the storage medium is not embodied in a carrier wave or a propagated signal. However, the term “non-transitory” should not be interpreted that the memory (130) is non movable. In some examples, the memory (130) can be configured to store larger amounts of information than the memory. In certain examples, a non-transitory storage medium may store data that can, over time, change (e.g., in Random Access Memory (RAM) or cache).

In an embodiment, the physical documentanalyzer unit (150) is configured to determine at least one data item in at least one physical document and classify at least one content in the at least one determined data item. The data item can be, for example, but not limited to headlines, sports information, movie information, economic information, international news information. The content can be, for example, but not limited to, share market, tennis related information, cricket related information or the like. The physical document can be, for example, but not limited to a newspaper, book, magazine, journal, instruction manual, directories, formsor the like. The robot (100) will differentiate among various kinds of physical documents using a machine learning model.

Further, the physical documentanalyzer unit (150) is configured to provide at least one classified content to the user. In an embodiment, the at least one data item in the at least one physical document is determined by scanning at least one page of the at least one physical document using the mechanical flipping arrangement (180), converting the at least one scanned physical document into a readable format, analyzing the at least one converted physical document, and determining at least one data item in at least one physical document. In an embodiment, the data item determination unit (150a) is configured to determine the at least one data item in the at least one scanned physical document by parsing each portion of the at least one physical document, extracting each parsed portion of the at least one physical document, and mapping the extracted portion of the physical document with predetermined information. The predetermined information may be a user specific choice, interest, news type or the like.

In an example, the robot (100) is provided with the mechanical flipping arrangement (180) (e.g., robot hand or the like) that will be able to flip all the pages of a physical document (such as a newspaper or any other document). The mechanical flipping arrangement (180) flips the pages of newspaper one by one, while the scanning unit (160) performs the scanning operation until it reaches the last page. In an example, the scanning unit (160) will first scan a first page to last page of the physical document one by one and convert into a readable format (e.g., Optical character recognition (OCR) format simultaneously and send it to the physical documentanalyzer unit (150). The scanning unit (160) is a camera or other suitable sensor used for scanning purposes.

While scanning pages, the physical documentanalyzer unit (150) is configured to categorize various sections of the physical document into various categories based on a content in the physical document. In an example, the physical document includes headlines, sports information, movie information, economic information, international news information. For the sports, the physical documentanalyzer unit is configured to categorize the data item as cricket, tennis, football based on the available content in the physical document.

Further, the physical documentanalyzer unit(150) is configured to prioritize the at least one classified content. In an embodiment, the at least one classified content is prioritized by learning a preference of the user and an interest of the user over a period of tim e and prioritizing the at least one classified content based on at least one of the preference of the user and the interest of the user.

Further, the physical docum entanalyzer unit( 150) is configured to transm it at least one classified content to the user using the output unit ( 140) . I n an embodiment, the at least one classified content is displayed to the user by connecting the robot ( 100) with the electronic device, transm itting the at least one classified content to the electronic device, and displaying at least one classified content on the electronic device.

I n an em bodiment, the output unit ( 140) m ay be an in-built projecting device to display the inform ation on a flat surface. This results in increasing the user experience. I n an em bodim ent, the output u n it( 140) may be a speaker to read the content with or without classifying the content.

I n an em bodim ent, the at least one classified content to the user is provided by receiving the input from the user and providing the at least one classified content to the user based on the input.

I n an embodim ent, the at least one classified content is provided to the user by receiving the input from the user, determ ining the priority information based on the input, and providing the at least one classified content to the user based on the priority information . The priority information is determ ined based on at least one of a user emotional profile, an aesthetic parameter, a social networking activity, a social networking profile, a behavior trait, a priority of the user, a user preference, and user profiled inform ation. The inputor user input is provided in the form of a voice input, a text input, a gaze input, and a gesture input.

I n an em bodiment, the priority inform ation is determ ined by analyzing the inputto determ ine a user intent, preprocessing the user intent using a m achine learning model, and determ ining the priority information for the input based on the user intent. I n an example, if the user wishes to view the cricket related information then, the machine learning model determines the cricket related information and whenever the cricket related information is occurring, the highlighting tool (190) highlights the cricket related information. The machine learning model can be, for example, but not limited to a neural network model, a deep learning model, a convolution based neural network model, a linear regression model, a logistic regression model, an adaptive logic regression model, a support vector machine leering model, a recurrent neural model, an artificial intelligent model or the like. The classified content is provided to the user using a highlighting tool (190) or the laser light (210) fixed in or coupled with the mechanical flipping device (180) based on the priority information. The classified content is provided to the user in a real time. The highlighting may be done either by the robot (100) without receiving any input or the user will highlight the content in a screenshot and it will automatically be reflected in the content available with the robot (100). For the person ordinary skilled in the art, the laser light (210) can be any form of light to highlight the content.

In an embodiment, the physical documentanalyzer unit (150) is configured to determine that any particular information is found to be of importance to the user then, the physical documentanalyzer unit (150) indicates the specific information to the user using a highlighting tool (190) or the voice assisting tool (200) (e.g., virtual assistance application or the like). In an example, the user wishes to invest some money in a share market then the physical documentanalyzer unit (150) determines that the stock market related information is more important to the user, the physical documentanalyzer unit (150) indicates the stock market related information to the user in a unique way using the highlighting tool (190) or the laser light (210) so that the user will listen/watch/readthat information very carefully and accordingly, takesa decision. In an example, the laser light (210) and highlighting tool (190) straightaway highlights the relevant pages/ relevant information in the physical documents. In an example, the robot is equipped with one or more motors that enable the mechanical flipping arrangement (180)to move to hover on the at least one physical document. Based on the robot arm movement, the laser light (210) or the highlighting tool (190) highlights the relevant pages/relevant information in the at least one physical document.

Further, the robot (100) is provided with an inbuilt printer (170) or may be linked to the electronic device (e.g., printer or the like), so that the physical documentanalyzer unit is configured to take print the relevant portions (e.g., highlighted portions) based on the user need.

In an embodiment, the physical documentanalyzer unit (150) is configured to determine the important information using at least one of an artificial language (Al) based technique, Natural Language Processing (NPL) techniques.

In an embodiment, at least one classified content is provided to the user by receiving a language preference from the user, translating the at least one classified content based on the language preference, and providing the at least one translated classified content to the user based on the language preference. In an example, the physical documentanalyzer unit (150) is configured to translate the physical document in a different language (e.g., English, Arabic, Hindi, Tamil, Korean, French or the like) and read out in accordance with the user choice’s language.

In an embodiment, the at least one classified content is provided to the user based on the on-going trend (e.g., sale for New Year, Olympic season, or the like). In an embodiment, the at least one classified content is provided to the user based on user mood.

The at least one classified content is provided to the user based on the determined location of the user. In an example, the robot (100) is configured to determine the location of the user, extract location features from the physical document, determining a geographic region of the physical document based on the extracted location features, and provide the classified content to the user based on the geographic region. In an embodiment, the classified content is provided to the user by determining a user profile from a set of user profiles and providing the at least one classified content to the user based on the determined user profile.

In an embodiment, the at least one classified content is provided to the user by determining a presence of the child, determining that at least one inappropriate content is present in the at least one classified content, and providing the at least one inappropriate content in a silent mode. In an example, the sensor (220) (e.g., electric field sensor, wave sensor or the like) senses the presence of the child in the environment (e.g., home, mall, hospital, university or the like). In an implementation, the robot (100) utilizes the existing methods (e.g., heat mapping method, human pattern recognition method or the like) to determine the presence of the child.

In an embodiment, the physical document analyzer unit (150) is configured to create a story including information about a plurality of activity related to the at least one classified content in the at least one data item, wherein the plurality of activity corresponds to a scene or an event available in the physical document. In an example, the robot (100) determines that the user is more interested to watch/monitor specific tennis player. Then, the robot (100) creates the story including all event associated with the specific tennis player.

In an embodiment, the physical documentanalyzer u n it ( 150) receive the user input to read out the physical document. Based on the user input, the physical documentanalyzer unit (150) is configured to determine the user interests. Based on the determined user interests, the physical documentanalyzer unit(150) is configured to read the physical document. The user interest is determined from the pre-stored information or fetched from user’s profile. The user profile includes at least one of a user interests, location information, demographic information, financial information, health related information, social information, professional information, a preferred channel from the plurality of channels, a behavior-metric, a knowledge-metric, and a distinguishable characteristic.

In an embodiment, the physical documentanalyzer u n it( 150) processes the image to identify the information along its corresponding info, coloursetc. using the image processing technique. In an embodiment, the physical documentanalyzer unit(150) is configured to determine that some of the information including violent content and determines that children are sitting around, then the physical documentanalyzer u n it( 150) skips corresponding portion or provides a silent mode or provide beep sound for the corresponding portion in case children are sitting around.

In an embodiment, the physical documentanalyzer unit(150) may read out or highlight the information based on a particular topic as suggested by the user. The highlighting may be automatically done based on user interest or based on some other request received from the user.

The output unit (140), which may be a display or a speaker, provides the personalized content in the form of a text or a voice.

In an embodiment, the scanning unit (160) sends the scanned pages of the physical document to the physical document analyzer unit (150), wherein the physical document analyzer unit (150) is an image processor. The physical document analyzer unit (150) analyzes the scanned data and allows the news to be read loud via a speaker or sends the same to the electronic device (400) using the communicator (120). The mechanical flipping arrangement (180) grips the physical object precisely by opening and closing of the plurality of axes and a plurality of levers simultaneous manner.

In an embodiment, the robot (100), after scanning the physical documents, transmits the classified content to the electronic device (400) and the user provides the input on the electronic device (400). The user input includes at least selecting/highlighting a portion of the received classified content from the robot on the electronic device (400). Based on the highlighted portion, the robot (100) determines that what content is being highlighting, triggers the highlighting tool (190) in the robot (100) to highlight the same portions as have been highlighted by the user in its electronic device (400).

In another embodiment, the robot (100), after scanning the physical documents, transmits the classified content to the electronic device (400) and the user provides the input (e.g., verbal input, or the like) to highlight a portion received from the classified content from the robot (100). The robot (100) recognizes the verbal voice input from the user and triggers the highlighting tool (190) to highlight the same portions as have been directed by the user in its voice command. The verbal input may be provided directly to the robot (100) when the user in near to the robot (100) or the user may provide a verbal input on the electronic device (400).

In an embodiment, the robot (100) is configured to analyse the physical document and capture details of the crimes happening around the world that are displayed in the physical document. The robot (100) is further configured to segregate the information provided in the physical document and preserve in its memory that can be used by the official authorities for investigation purposes and assists them for investigation and to get the clues about the crimes. In another example, the robot (100) may be configured to capture details of the accidents and keep a count record of the same.

Although the FIG. 1 shows various hardware components of the the robot (100) but it is to be understood that other embodiments are not limited thereon. In other embodiments, the the robot (100) may include less or more number of components. Further, the labels or names of the components are used only for illustrative purpose and does not limit the scope of the invention. One or more components can be combined together to perform same or substantially similar function of providing the personalized content to the user. FIG. 2 shows various hardware components of the physical documentanalyzer unit(150) included in the robot (100), according to an embodiment as disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the physical documentanalyzer unit (150) includes a data item determination unit(150a), a content classification unit(150b), and a content prioritizing u n it ( 150c).

The data item determination unit(150a) is configured to determine the data item in the physical document. Further, the content classification u n it( 150b) is configured to classify the content in the determined data item and provide the classified content to the user. Further, the content prioritizing unit(150c) is configured to learn the preference of the user and the interest of the user over the period of time and prioritize the at least one classified content based on at least one of the preferences of the user and the interest of the user.

FIG. 3 is a schematic view of a system (300) for providing the personalized content to the user, according to an embodiment as disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the system (300) includes the robot (100), the physical document (310), the electronic device (400) and the user (320). The operations and functions of the robot (100) is already explained in conjugation with FIG. 1 and FIG. 2. The electronic device (400)can be, for example, but not limited to a smart phone, a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a smart TV, a printer, a tablet computer, a laptop computer, a virtual reality device, an immersive device, a smart watch, a smart band, an Internet of Things (loT) or the like.

In an embodiment, when the physical document(310),such as newspaper, is being read out using a speaker phone, the corresponding image of the physical document may be transmitted and rendered onto the user electronic device (400).

In other words, the robot (100) can either directly communicate with the user (320) or can communicate via the electronic device (400).

In an embodiment of the present invention, the robot (100) transmits one or more screenshots of the physical document (310) to the user’s electronic device (400), wherein the one or more screenshots represent a news content. Once the one or more screenshots are received at the electronic device (400), the user (320) may read the news content and highlight the content of his interest in the one or more screenshots.

Once the highlights have been made in the one or more screenshots by the user (320), the one or more screenshots with the highlights are transmitted back to the robot (100). The robot (100) scrutinizes the highlighted screenshots and maps with the data available in the memory (130). During the mapping procedure, the robot (100) firstly scrutinizes the one or more screenshots and then identifies the details such as page number, content type or the like of the physical document (310). After the identification, the highlighting tool (190) of the robot (100) is triggered. The robot (100) holding the physical document (310) flips the pages via the mechanical flipping arrangement (180)and reaches to the page(s) where the corresponding information is available. The highlighting tool (190) then highlights the same highlighted data of the one or more screenshots in the physical document (310) itself.

In another embodiment, the user (320) may read the news of his interest online on his electronic device. In this scenario, the user (320) shares the screenshots or text input, related to the news read online, with the robot (100) to read similar kind of news in the physical document (310). The user may share the screenshots with or without highlighting the content. The robot (100) scrutinizes the screenshots or the text input or the like and maps with the data available in the memory (130). During the mapping procedure, the robot (100) firstly scrutinizes the screenshots or the text input or the like and then identifies the details such as page number, content type or the like of the physical document (310). After the identification, the highlighting tool (190) of the robot (100) is triggered. The robot (100) holding the physical document (310) flips the pages via the mechanical flipping arrangement (180) and reaches to the page where the corresponding information is available. The highlighting tool (190) then highlights the same data based on the shared screenshots or text input in the physical document (310) itself, which is further shared with the user (320).

FIG. 4 is a flow diagram (S400) illustrating a method for providing the personalized content to the user, according to an embodiment as disclosed herein.

At S402, the method includes flippingat least one page of at least one physical documentby using the mechanical flipping arrangement (180). At S404, the, the method includes scanning the at least one page of the at least one physical document and converting the at least one scanned physical document into the readable format using the scanning unit (160). At S406, the method includes analysing the at least one converted physical document and determining at least one data item in the at least one physical document by using the data item determination unit (150a). At S408, the method includes classifying at least one content in the at least one determined data item by using the content classification unit (150b). At S410, the method includes prioritizing the at least one classified content by learning a preference of the user and an interest of the user over the period of time using the content prioritizing unit (150c). At S412, the method includes storing the at least one classified content using the memory (130). At S414, the method includes highlighting the at least one prioritized content. At S416, the method includes providing the at least one classified content to the user by using the output unit (140).

The various actions, acts, blocks, steps, or the like in the flow diagram (S400) may be performed in the order presented, in a different order or simultaneously. Further, in some embodiments, some of the actions, acts, blocks, steps, or the like may be omitted, added, modified, skipped, or the like without departing from the scope of the invention.

The embodiments disclosed herein can be implemented using at least one software program running on at least one hardware device and performing network management functions to control the elements.
