Abstract:
A robot for providing an information service through a first language by using artificial intelligence, according to one embodiment of the present invention, can comprise: a microphone for receiving voice data; a camera for acquiring image data; an output unit; and a processor for determining, on the basis of the voice data and/or the image data, a second language in which the information service is to be provided, changing, from the first language to the second language, the language in which the information service is to be provided, when the determined second language differs from the first language, and outputting the information service through the output unit by means of the second language.
