Abstract:
A robot system provided with: a robot; a portable operation terminal having a teaching function; and a robot control device having a teaching mode for teaching an action of the robot via the portable operation terminal, and an action mode other than the teaching mode. The control device senses whether there is an electrical connection with the portable operation terminal, switches from the robot action mode to the teaching mode when an electrical connection with the portable operation terminal is sensed, and switches from the robot action mode to another action mode other than the teaching mode when it is sensed that there is no connection between the control device and the portable operation terminal.
