Abstract:
Disclosed is a robot system control method which uses one of two industrial robots as a master robot and using the other robot as a slave robot, comprising the steps of performing an operation wherein data showing the relationships of relative positions and relative attitudes between the master robot and the slave robot in welding condition establishment work are stored as a set of information; and performing another operation wherein, with the master robot and the slave robot located in arbitrary positions during teaching work, the slave robot is made to move with respect to the position of the master robot in such a way that the relationships of the relative positions and the relative attitudes that are shown by the set of information stored will be reproduced, or the master robot is made to move with respect to the position of the slave robot in the same way.
