Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a robot system capable of separating an adhesive member from a cover material and applying the adhesive member to a workpiece without requiring complicated settings. [Solution] The present invention provides a robot system provided with: an application mechanism able to grip an adhesive member and apply the adhesive member to a work piece; and a supply mechanism capable of supplying the adhesive member. The application mechanism is provided with a robot hand able to grip and release the adhesive member and a robot arm able to move the robot hand. The supply mechanism is separate from the application mechanism, supplies the adhesive member in a state in which the adhesive member is applied to a cover material, and bends the cover material in a direction away from the adhesive member such that the robot hand is able to grip the adhesive member in a state in which the adhesive member is separated from the cover material.
