Abstract:
This robot system is provided with: an end effector capable of working on a workpiece; a support unit that supports the end effector in the state where the end effector is displaceable; a first driving unit capable of driving the end effector via the support unit at a first stroke; a detection unit that detects the position of the end effector; and a second driving unit that is disposed between the support unit and the end effector and that is capable of driving, on the basis of position information of the end effector detected by the detection unit, the end effector at a second stroke smaller than the first stroke with respect to the support unit.
