Abstract:
A robot system (100) is provided with: a robot (1) that has a traveling carrier (11), an arm (12) coupled to the traveling carrier (11), and a hand (13) coupled to the arm (12) and picks a workpiece (W); a camera (2) provided on the hand (13); and a control device (3A) for controlling the robot (1). While causing the traveling carrier (11) to travel, the control device (3A) executes a picking operation including: a photographing operation for photographing the workpiece (W) by the camera (2); an approaching operation in which, while considering the traveling of the traveling carrier (11), the arm (12) is used to move the hand (13) to the position of the workpiece (W) determined on the basis of the photographed image of the workpiece (W) in the photographing operation; and a holding operation for causing the hand (13) to hold the workpiece (W).
