Abstract:
The present invention relates to a vacuum gripper device which is mounted to a robot arm and operated to grip an article to be transferred in a vacuum transfer system. The device of the present invention comprises: a box-shaped body including an air circuit unit; a support detachably fastened to the body; and a gripper slidably and separably fastened to the support. The gripper comprises a vacuum pump and a suction pad formed to communicate with each other, wherein the vacuum pump is operated by compressed air supplied through the circuit unit to exhaust air from the suction pad. Accordingly, the present invention can advantageously implement compact design of a vacuum system for mounting to a robot, and flexibly and elastically respond to situations on the site.
