Abstract:
A robot for underwater observation and an observation method thereof. The robot comprises three portions: a basic assembly, a driving assembly, and an observation assembly. The basic assembly comprises a waterproof housing (1), a top plate (2) disposed on the waterproof housing (1), and a plurality of support frames (3) disposed at a bottom portion of the waterproof housing (1). The driving assembly comprises two buoyancy balance chambers (4) disposed at two sides of the waterproof housing (1), a balance detector (5) disposed between the two buoyancy balance chambers (4), and a bladeless propeller (6) disposed between the two buoyancy balance chambers (4). The observation assembly comprises a camera unit (6) and an underwater halogen lamp (8) which are disposed on the top plate (2). The bladeless propeller (6) ejects a relatively stable water flow, and thus affects a photographing assembly to a lesser degree. The invention uses a bladeless propeller to replace a screw propeller, such that the robot for underwater observation is affected less by its own propeller, thereby improving the imaging quality of a vision system thereof.
