Abstract:
A robot warning system and method applicable in a city. When a residential building in a city has a gas leak therein, a warning server of the city can send to a vehicle monitoring platform and a robot management center, by means of an Internet of Things, position information and a building name of said residential building and street names at a periphery thereof. If it is determined that there is a target vehicle on a street associated with the street names, the vehicle monitoring platform sends to the target vehicle, by means of the Internet of Things, gas leak warning information including the position information and building name of the residential building having a gas leak. The system and method enable a gas leak within a residential building to be recognized in a timely manner, thus preventing serious safety accidents. The system and method further perform financial management on a financial management account corresponding to a corresponding user identifier of a target robot, thus providing an incentive for the target robot to participate in a gas leak warning activity.
