Abstract:
In order to decrease the size of a structure for suppressing a robot from falling over, a left lower knee joint section (18b) rotatably connects a left thigh section (16b) of a robot (1) around a left leg section (17b). The left lower knee joint section (18b) is fixed to the left leg section (17b). A rotating shaft (18c) serving as an axis of revolution of the left thigh section (16b) around the left leg section (17b) is formed in the left lower knee joint section (18b). A bearing portion (16d) around which the rotating shaft (18c) revolves is formed in the left thigh section (16b). A brake (22) for suppressing revolution of the left thigh section (16b) around the left leg section (17b) is inserted in a gap that is formed when the rotating shaft (18c) is arranged in the bearing portion (16d).
