Abstract:
Provided is a robot in which the routing of wiring can be simplified even when the robot has a plurality of joint parts. For example, a joint part 2 of this robot is provided with: a motor 7; a reduction gear 8 coupled to the motor 7; an output-side member 27 fixed to the output shaft 16 of the reduction gear 8; a position detection mechanism 9 for detecting the rotational position of the motor 7; a circuit board 10 to which the motor 7 and the position detection mechanism 9 are electrically connected; and a case 11 in which the motor 7, the reduction gear 8, the position detection mechanism 9, and the circuit board 10 are housed. The motor 7 and the reduction gear 8 are fixed to the case 11. A motor driving circuit for driving the motor 7, a signal transmission circuit for outputting a signal inputted to the circuit board 10 to outside the circuit board 10, and a connector to which an end of a wiring is connected are mounted to the circuit board 10.
