Abstract:
A robotic cleaner is disclosed. The present robotic cleaner comprises: a main body; a driving unit provided to the main body so as to supply power for the traveling of the robotic cleaner; first and second rotating members, which respectively rotate around a first rotary shaft and a second rotary shaft by the power of the driving unit, and to which cleaners for wet-cleaning can be respectively fixed; a light-emitting unit for emitting a planar beam toward a cleaning surface located in the traveling direction of the robotic cleaner; a photographing unit for photographing a cleaning area including the emitted planar beam, and generating an image corresponding to the photographed cleaning area; and a control unit for determining, by using the image, the position of a point at which the robotic cleaner falls in the cleaning area, and controlling the driving unit according to the determination result so as to make the robotic cleaner avoid the point at which the robotic cleaner falls.
