Abstract:
A robotic cleaner according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: a rolling cleaning module comprising a rolling member disposed to be in contact with a floor while rotating in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction in view from the left of the robotic cleaner; a sensor part comprising a plurality of sensors; and a control part for determining whether the posture of the robotic cleaner changes and whether a motor load current value of the rolling member changes, on the basis of data sensed by the sensor part, and identifying a predetermined area on the floor as a contaminated area when it is determined that the posture and the current value have changed. Therefore, the robotic cleaner can optimally travel according to the position of a contaminant and the type of the floor.
