Abstract:
A robotic cleaner (100,300) includes one or more driven wheels (102), at least one environmental sensor (106), and a mop module (104,200,304). The mop module (104,200,304) includes a tank (202,306) having a tank inlet (208,410) and a tank outlet (210), a pad (110,204,308) coupled at a bottom side of the tank (202,306), the pad (110,204,308) configured to contact a surface to be cleaned (108) and to receive liquid from the tank outlet (210), and a latch (206,310) configured to transition between a latched position, a release position, and a refill position. When in the latched position and in the release position, at least a portion of the latch (206,310) may extend over the tank inlet (208,410) and when in the refill position, the latch (206,310) may be displaced from the tank inlet (208,410), exposing the tank inlet (208,410).
