Abstract:
A robotic device is disclosed. The robotic device comprises: memory; a sensor; and at least one processor which acquires a map corresponding to a space in which the robot device is located and reliability values respectively corresponding to a plurality of areas included in the map on the basis of sensing data received from the sensor, and stores the map and the plurality of reliability values in the memory. The at least one processor identifies at least one area corresponding to a reliability value equal to or higher than a threshold value on the basis of the reliability values respectively corresponding to the plurality of areas, and identifies a movement path of the robotic device in the space on the basis of the identified at least one area.
