Abstract:
The present invention deals with change in the relative position between a working area and a robot in a short period of time. The robotic system has a robotic apparatus (1). The robotic apparatus (1) can be disposed near a conveying device that conveys a workpiece or a working table for the workpiece, and is provided with a multi-joint arm mechanism (200). A handwork-effect device (3) is mounted on the tip of an arm of the multi-joint arm mechanism (200). A position sensing unit (105, 8-1 to 8-3) for sensing the relative position of the robotic apparatus (1) with respect to the conveying device or the working table is provided. Multiple work programs associated with multiple relative positions and describing operations of the multi-joint arm mechanism (200) and the handwork-effect device (3) are stored in a storage unit (107). A work program associated with a relative position sensed by the position sensing unit is selectively read from the storage unit. A control unit (106) controls operations of the handwork-effect device and the multi-joint arm mechanism in accordance with work programs that have been read.
