Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a technique for a rocker arm for a valve train, the technique being capable of improving the fuel consumption of an engine and capable of making the valve train compact.
[Solution] A rocker arm for a valve train is formed so as to comprise: a top plate section which is pivotably supported at one end thereof by a support member for forming the pivot center, supports a valve stem by a pad surface provided at the other end, and has at the upper surface thereof a cam slide section for allowing a cam of a cam shaft to slide thereon; and at least one or more standing wall sections which are formed so that the width thereof is less than the width of the top plate section and which are provided so as to extend in substantially the vertical direction from the top plate section.
