Abstract:
A rocker switch device, wherein each of a pair of shanks (21j, 22j) being in a row on the same axial line together is vertically erected on counterface surfaces at the tips (21d, 22d) of a pair of side walls (21, 22) of a switch case (20), and a bearing hole (32h) for the pair of shanks to be rotatably fitted therethrough is formed penetrating a control knob (30), with projections (21t, 22t) coming in contact with a support (10) under pressure for preventing backlash in the switch case provided on the outer surfaces of the pair of side walls, a support pin (25) for causing each of both ends to come in contact with the tips of the pair of shanks fitted into the bearing hole (32h). Thus, even when the rocker switch device is used under a vibration-prone environment, the problem of an erroneous switch operation, etc., attributable to backlash in the switch case is prevented as the projection for backlash prevention vertically erected on the side wall of the case is brought into contact with the support under pressure, and further the deformation of the side wall caused by contact under pressure is reliably restricted and switch reliability is increased.
