Abstract:
A rocking toy that is inexpensive and can perform rocking motion for long hours
with the use of a drive means of a simple mechanism and without requiring the use
of a power source such as a battery. The rocking toy has a pedestal having a water
pool at its upper part and a hole at the bottom of the water pool, and also has a rocking
body rockably placed on the pedestal. The rocking body has arms extending downward
from it and falling- water receivers at the tips of the arms. Water stored in the
water pool is allowed to fall from the hole into the falling-water receivers of
the rocking body, thereby causing the rocking body to rock.
