Abstract:

A rod material for an earth anchor comprising a roughened FRP rod covered with a film or wrapped spirally with a string member, such as a tape, so that an outer surface of the tape becomes substantially flush with that of the rod. The film of string member is partially removed, and the stripped portion of the rod is intended for contact with a grout.
