Abstract:

A driving apparatus in which the power of a single electric motor is distributed to two shafts via a neck roller, the power distributed to these shafts being then transmitted to rolls via a speed reducer. Internal planetary gears are used as the speed reducer, so that the transmission of a large torque can be done by small gears.
