Abstract:
A first roll (20) and a second roll (40) respectively have a plurality of stacked cutting edges (22, 122), and a plurality of first retainers (21) and a plurality of second retainers (121) for managing the clearance between the cutting edges (22, 122) in the axial direction of the first roll (20). The total length of the first roll (20) and the second roll (40), and the clearance between the blade sections (26, 126) of the cutting edges (22, 122) of the first roll (20) and the second roll (40) in the axial direction of the first roll (20) are easily and appropriately maintained. The retainers (21, 121) cancel out the variation in the thickness of the cutting blades (22, 122).
