Abstract:
A roll for rolling surface topography of a steel plate. A plurality of protruding texturing points is distributed on a roll surface. The shape of the junction between a single texturing point and the roll surface is circular or substantially circular, and the diameter of the circle is 50-150 μm. The protrusion height of a single texturing point is 2-12 μm, and the amount of overlap between adjacent texturing points is less than 10%. The difference in the number of the texturing points per unit square millimeter on the roll surface is less than 20%, and the proportion of coverage area of the texturing points per unit square millimeter is 30-90%. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing a roll, comprising the steps of: performing surface treatment on an incoming material roll (2), to control the surface roughness of the roll to Ra<0.5 μm; and ablating surface materials of the roll layer by layer to form the texturing points. The roll has good topography reproduction rate and low waviness.
