Abstract:
The present invention relates to a roll-to-roll printing system for compensating for the position and speed of a cliché roll. The present invention provides a roll-to-roll printing system for compensating for the position and speed of a cliché roll, the system comprising: a blanket roll onto which a printing composition is coated; a cliché roll making contact with the outer circumferential surface of the blanket roll, wherein a part of the printing composition coated onto the blanket roll moves to the cliché roll; a printing roll making contact with the outer circumferential surface of the blanket roll, wherein the remaining printing composition on the blanket roll, which has not been removed by the cliché roll, moves to the printing roll; a flexible substrate brought into close contact with the surface of the printing roll such that the printing composition having moved from the cliché roll to the printing roll is transferred to the surface of the flexible substrate; a supply roll and a collection roll around which opposite longitudinal ends of the flexible substrate are wound, wherein the supply roll and the collection roll supply the flexible substrate toward the printing roll and collect the flexible substrate from the printing roll while rotating; an alignment device moving the cliché roll according to a leftward and rightward movement of the flexible substrate; and a speed compensating device varying the rotational speed of the cliché roll according to a tension change of the flexible substrate, whereby it is possible to uniformly maintain the quality of an end product in which an ink has been transferred to the flexible substrate, even though the flexible substrate moves in an oblique direction, or changes in the tension thereof.
