Abstract:
The present invention is characterized by comprising: a transfer device (4) that is equipped with a roll holding shaft (44) extending in a predetermined direction from the tip (43e) of an arm (43) and holding a roll (10) by being inserted inside a core member (11) of the roll (10); and a placement part (58) that is positioned within the range of movement of the roll holding shaft (44), and on which a roll (10) can be placed with both axial ends of the core member (11) of the roll (10) in an open state. The present invention is further characterized in that, using the transfer device (4), the roll (10) is placed on the placement part (58), the roll holding shaft (44) is pulled out to one side in the axial direction of the core member (11) from the core member (11) of the roll (10) placed on the placement part (58), and the roll holding shaft (44) pulled out from the core member (11) is inserted inside the core member (11) from the other side in the axial direction thereof.
