Abstract:
One embodiment of this invention provides an electrode set that is rolled into a flattened shape. Said rolled electrode set comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator interposed therebetween. The negative electrode contains a negative-electrode active material, the operating potential of which is more positive than 1.0 V (vs. Li/Li+). Both surfaces of the end of the positive electrode face the negative electrode with the separator interposed therebetween, and both surfaces of the end of the negative electrode face the positive electrode with the separator interposed therebetween. The innermost loop of the rolled electrode set includes the ends of both the positive electrode and the negative electrode.
