Abstract:
The roller group, including an axis-fixed drive roll and an axis movable driven roll,
wherein a drive clamping head and a driven clamping head, each coated with soft
material around, are provided respectively above the drive roll and the driven
roll, each end of the shaft of the drive roll is connected with one crank capable
of rotating about the axis of the drive roll with three rocker arms, i.e. the first,
the second and the third rocker arms protruding therefrom. The first rocker arm
connects to the driven clamping head, the second rocker arm is provided with a
through slot for the shaft of the driven roll to pass through and move therein. A
cam is provided on the side of the third rocker arm toward the protrusion of the second
rocker arm, which will press the third rocker arm when rotated to a certain position.
Springs are connected to ends of the shaft of the driven roll, applying pulling
force in the direction toward the drive roll. The drive roll and the driven roll
are positioned at a short distance away from the corner portion of the knitting work
plate, opening in an upper triangular manner, thereby saving the initial started
yarn, facilitating the moving multi- needles transferring, and resulting in
stable weaving process due to the tight abutment between the drive roll and the
driven roll during open and close movement.
