Abstract:
One aspect of the present invention relates to a roller hemming unit for roller hemming equipment that folds the edges of a panel, the roller hemming unit comprising: a housing; a shaft assembly that is deployed in the housing to slide lengthwise; an anti-rotation housing that is disposed between the shaft assembly and the housing to guide the shaft assembly to slide lengthwise and to prevent rotation of the shaft assembly; a support part that is disposed between the housing and the shaft assembly and disposed on one end of the lengthwise shaft of the shaft assembly; a pressure sensor module that is disposed between the support part and the housing to sense the pressure applied to the shaft assembly; an elastic body that is disposed between the support part and the shaft assembly to elastically support the shaft assembly; and a roller part that is disposed on the other end of the shaft assembly to machine the panel, and subsequently contact between the roller part and the panel can be continuously maintained, thereby preventing defects, and compensating any rotational force generated at the roller part by mutual ball spline coupling between the shaft assembly and the anti-rotational housing, which effectively minimizes machining errors incurred by the roller part.
