A roller shutter comprises a curtain bracket (1), a curtain reel (2) set on the bracket (1), a power driving mechanism (3) on one end of the curtain reel (2) for driveing the curtain reel (2) to rotate, and an elastic force slewing mechanism (4) and a gyration release device (5) set in the reel (2). Its features are in that two set of reels (2) are provided, the power driving mechanism (3) consists of a gear box (6) connected to the bracket (1), a bead chain (7), a main gear (8) set in the gear box (6) and driven by the bead chain (7), an unidirectional rotation mechanism (9) driven by the main gear (8), a transmission gear (10) set in the gear box (6) and engaged with the main gear (8), a driven gear (11) set in the gear box (6) and engaged with the transmission gear (10) and an unidirectional rotation mechanism (9) driven by the driven gear (11), a driving head (16) connected to the unidirectional rotation mechanism (9) is set on the elastic force slewing mechanism (4), and the driving dead (16) consists of a rotation axle (16a), an axle sleeve (16b) muff coupled on the rotation axle (16a), and an elasticity mechanism (17) set on the axle sleeve (16b).
