A roller skating apparatus, comprising a pedal (101), at least one grounding element (102), a driving element, a first controller, and a first sensor. The pedal (101) is coupled to the grounding element (102); the grounding element (102) is coupled to the driving element; the first controller is coupled to the driving element and the first sensor. The relative positions of the grounding element (102) and the pedal (101) in a horizontal plane are adjustable. The grounding element (102) is driven by the driving element to move. The first sensor is used for sensing the posture of a driver on the pedal (101). The driving element is used for generating an output signal for controlling the grounding element (102) to move and maintaining the entire roller skating apparatus in a balanced state. The first controller is used for controlling the generation of the output signal according to the posture, thereby avoiding body fatigue due to human-powered skating. In addition, during skating, because the apparatus can maintain a balanced state and the movement direction of the grounding element (102) is adjustable, the roller skating apparatus has a lower demand on skills of the driver, thereby further improving and enriching user experience.
