Abstract:
A roller-type electric toothbrush of the present invention comprises: a body of which the inner part is hollow and one side at the back is concavely formed so that the body may be held by a hand, wherein a cover portion for covering the bristles of the toothbrush is formed on the tip; a rechargeable battery which supplies power to the inner part of the body, and a driving motor which is driven by being supplied with the power from the rechargeable battery; a switch which drives the driving motor in forward and reverse directions to the outside of the body; a driving shaft which is applied with a dynamic force from the driving motor by being mounted on the driving motor, wherein the driving shaft is extended to be protruded toward the tip of the body; a worm gear which receives the dynamic force of the driving shaft by being coupled with the tip of the driving shaft, and a worm wheel which receives the dynamic force of the worm gear in engagement with the worm gear; a driven shaft which is coupled with both sides of the worm wheel in a protruded type, and is rotated by receiving the dynamic force from the worm wheel; and roller-type bristles of the toothbrush which are rotated by accommodating each of both ends of the driven shaft.
